How to Convert Images to PDF — Step by Step

  1. 1
    Prepare your images (recommended)

For best results, crop out unnecessary borders and compress large photos before converting. This prevents the final PDF from being unnecessarily large.

  2. 2
Upload your images and set the order

Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP images (up to 300 files, 50 MB each). Drag the thumbnails to arrange them — the top image becomes page 1 of the PDF.

  3. 3
Choose page size and click Convert

Select A4, Letter, or "fit to image" — then download your PDF. Open it to check that all images appear correctly and in the right sequence.

Building a PDF from Photos: What to Know First

Each image you upload becomes one page in the PDF. The image is embedded at its original file size — a 5 MB photo creates a 5 MB page. If you upload 10 photos without compression, the resulting PDF can easily be 40–50 MB: too large for most email attachments or portal upload limits.

The practical solution: compress images before converting. Use Compress Image to reduce each photo's file size before uploading here. A compressed 500 KB image still looks sharp on screen and in print, and produces a PDF that is easy to share. Alternatively, if you have already created the PDF and it is too large, run it through Compress PDF as a final step.

For the best-looking result, all images in a batch should have a consistent resolution and orientation. Mixing portrait and landscape photos produces a PDF where pages alternate between orientations — readable, but inconsistent.
